Andrew Coggan, PhD, FACSM Dr. Coggan is an associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and in the Department of Cellular and Integrative Physiology at Indiana University School of Medicine. An internationally recognized exercise physiologist, he has published numerous scientific articles on the effects of acute and chronic exercise in healthy subjects, athletes, and patient populations. He is a member of the WKO4 development team and is widely recognized as one of the leading experts on the use of power meters. He is also the coauthor of the book Training and Racing with a Power Meter.
Dean Golich Dean Golich is the premier coach and head performance physiologist at Carmichael Training Systems (CTS). Over the past twenty years, Dean has been a pioneer in the application of exercise physiology, power training, altitude training, and hydration strategies to improve athletic performance in real-world competitions. He has been a personal coach to more than seventy national champions and more than a dozen Olympic and world championship medalists.
Timothy Cusick Tim Cusick is the TrainingPeaks WKO4 product leader and a master coach with Velocious Endurance Coaching (VEC). With over ten years of coaching experience, Tim is a leader in utilizing innovative data methodologies in coaching with top athletes. Tim has coached athletes to world championships, world records, and over twenty national titles.
Kevin Williams Kevin Williams is a software developer with over twenty-five years experience in creating software products for several industries, including sports, medicine, manufacturing, and telecommunications. An early adopter of bicycle power meter technology and an amateur bicycle racer, he has trained and raced using power data as a way to quantify results and make the most of limited training time. Kevin is a co-creator of CyclingPeaks, a software product that enables athletes to collect and analyze performance data from sensors attached to the bicycle and athlete, and currently works as the software engineer for TrainingPeaks' WKO4.
Bobby Julich After a successful career as a world-class cyclist, Bobby Julich started his own coaching and consulting business. Bobby uses his experience and knowledge gained as a Tour de France veteran and Olympic medalist to help top-level cyclists reach their goals. He has held coaching positions at Team Saxo Bank, Team Sky, Team BMC, and Tinkov. Bobby is available to help you reach your cycling goals!
Amber Neben Amber is a two-time Olympian, the 2008 UCI time trial world champion, and the 2003 U.S. national road champion. She has been a pro racer for fifteen years, winning numerous races nationally and internationally, and she is currently riding for the Bepink team. Amber has been a power trainer for many years and is also an accomplished power coach herself. Amber is a USAC coach, a tour leader/guide, and a motivational speaker.
Kenny Carlson Kenny Carlson is a software engineering and user experience design team leader at Garmin International. He's worked on Garmin Fitness products for the past ten years, most closely involved with development of the Edge product line and other cycling-focused initiatives. He is an aspiring amateur cyclist in road and cyclocross racing.
Nate Keck Nate Keck is the software product manager and resident coach at Quarq. He has worked in the bicycle industry for nineteen years in various capacities, including coaching and directing some of the top collegiate and development teams in the country. Nate earned his M.S. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Montana and has published several peer-reviewed research papers. Nate and his wife, Monique, currently reside in Spearfish, South Dakota, where Quarq is headquartered.
